E-Deprogrammer
The E-Deprogrammer is a thin, temporary device that covers the top six teeth - canine to canine. It is an excellent diagnostic tool, muscle deprogrammer and will help achieve a stable joint position. But, unlike prefabricated appliances, it is customized to fit a patient's own teeth. Customized appliances do a superior job of deprogramming the muscles and are more comfortable so patient compliance is increased.
The E-deprogrammer:
- Is made out of stint material acyylic and/or composite.
- Costs about the same price as a Best Bite or other prefabricated appliances.
- Can do a better job of preparing a patient for equilibration.
- Can work as an interim stabilizer while waiting for appliance fabrication.
